The Prince Edward | Vintage-Chic Kensington Pub

Welcome to the Prince Edward

A traditional and charming London local pub close to Notting Hill

Located in the heart of Bayswater just a stone’s throw from Portobello Road, Westbourne Grove, Hyde Park and the bustle of Notting Hill, The Prince Edward is a traditional English pub that simply oozes traditional character and charm.

Its unique position on the picturesque Prince's Square is a great base for you to relax and enjoy yourself at any time of day!

At the heart of its local community, The Prince Edward is welcoming with dependable service in a traditional and fun environment, featuring an unrivalled range of drinks, and delicious food.

We welcome the Government’s decision that Public Houses can reopen from Saturday 4th July. We have been working tirelessly to prepare for this. Our priority is to reopen our pub in a safe and controlled way for our guests and team.

It is our intention to reopen from early to mid-August, to allow for a phased roll out of all of our H&W pubs, but this will be dependent on our final preparations to make you and our team safe and comfortable.

We cannot wait to have you visit after such a long period of closure. Please keep an eye on our website for further details of our exact reopening date and what you can expect.

Colourful Coffee

Our delicious ‘Rocket Espresso’ comes from our friends at Extract Coffee Roasters and is the perfect combination of great coffee and good ethics. The special blend comprises 100% Arabica coffee beans from a single farm in Colombia and a co-operative project in Peru, which works to directly benefit the families and communities involved. The result of this is a naturally sweet and full-bodied coffee with notes of chocolate and caramel to finish.

Try Our New Seasonal Beer

Badger Beer On Tap

It was deep in Dorset’s rolling hills and patchwork fields, in 1777, that local farmer Charles Hall brewed our first beer. A union of the Hall & Woodhouse families soon followed and the story of Badger beer had begun.

Pop in today to try one of our delicious range of cask and bottled beers.
